NORWEGIAN FOREST CAT

Tha Norwegian Forets cat (Skogcat, from his original country), protagonist of legends and stories of the Northern countries, magic cat and companion of the Vikings, who used to keep him on their drakkars, had his origins in long years natural selection, due to the cold weather of Norwegia. It's a big cat (males can weigh even 7 kilos or more), it has a long, muscular, substantial body, with long legs, the hind ones longer, to run without touching the snow with his belly, and be a very good runner and jumper.
His ears must be high and open, wide at the base, and protected by lynx tips, extended beyond the outer edge of each ear. The outer edge of the ear should follow the line of the head down the chin.
The feet are large, round, well tufted, to walk easily on the snow.
Eyes with alert expression, large, almond shaped, set obliquely. All eye colors allowed.
Triangular long head, with strong chin, profile long and straight from tip of nose to brow without break in line, Semi-long coat with a dense woolly undercoat covered with a smooth water repellant upper coat, which consist of long, coarse, and glossy hair covering the back and sides.
A long and bushy tail, should be at least as long as the body.
A fully coated cat has a full ruff and britches.
Norwegian Forest cat has an elegant behaviour even if it is a substantial cat.
All the colors admitted except those who derives from ibridations (i.e. Colourpoint).
Norwegian Forest cat has got un unchallenging behaviour, and it is very socialised with all the family, children included. He can live easily in a flat, without making damages, even if it is a good idea to provide him with a scratching post.
